Our equipment which treats Depression and Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) is drug-free and non-invasive.  The equipment used for treatment with MeRT® generates magnetic waves that gently stimulate specifically targeted areas of the brain. MeRT® Treatment protocols have seen some incredible success in improving conditions such as Depression, including Treatment-Resistant Depression (TRD) and Major Depressive Disorder (MDD).

Our sophisticated approach identifies patterns of dysfunction and strengthens brainwave activity

EEG studies reveal asymmetries in brainwave activity in those suffering from Depression.

MeRT® uses a proprietary brain wave analysis to identify the exact areas in the brain that are not functioning properly or communicating the way that they should be. People with depression have distinct markers visible in EEG studies – there is an imbalance in brainwave activity between the left and the right hemispheres of the brain, called asymmetry. There can also be indicators of slower brainwaves becoming more dominant. Our sophisticated approach identifies the asymmetries and strengthens brainwave activity, which can reduce depressive symptoms for optimal brain function. When we work with these types of brain patterns, we aim to identify these asymmetries and strengthen brainwave activity with the goal of reducing symptoms of depression for the patient.
